How ART grew
Alpine Ramble Treks (ART) began as a small Sherpa family collective guiding friends through the Khumbu and Annapurna. Word spread because we paced carefully for altitude, prepared back-up routes, and kept communication honest when weather or permits shifted.
Today, we operate across Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet with the same promise: expedition-grade safety, heartfelt hospitality, and fair economics for the people who carry these journeys. Our Kathmandu HQ blends field veterans, logistics planners, and guest-care teams who brief every trek daily.
How it started: hand-built itineraries, borrowed radios, and family kitchens feeding trekkers. How it is going: satellite messaging, insured porters, transparent pricing, and a growing crew of certified guides.
CSR is not a side project. Every departure feeds porter welfare, trail cleanups, and scholarships for the next generation of guides.
Thank you for trusting ART—where every trek feels like joining our extended mountain family.
